Raquel inside the mother's restaurant is a gem , I was curious about the food , and she handed me a menu with some suggestions with a warm authentic smile. She felt like family. The food is organic and very fresh and delicious. I'm from Houston, and I'll keep coming back here ever time I visit. Raquel should get a raise and be promoted..!

Popular location in HB not far from beach. This is an upscale Farmers Market with full menu cafe. Best coffee for $2.50 you can find. Had a “do it your way “ Wygu beef burger and home fried potatoes for $13. (Good value- if beef was as advertised). Not a drop of moisture in the burger- dry as desert sand, with similar flavor as such. Served a decaf coffee that was beyond bitter. I upgraded to “leaded” which was very good. Service was only fair but to pay the bill you had to go to the store and stand in-line with grocery shoppers! It could have been a great novel experience, but, sadly, not for me.

Healthy Eats at Mother’s Market & Kitchen They have some pretty good healthy choices to pick from. Their fruit and produce look so appealing and fresh. Their juices are freshly made, just like the ones you get from the juice bar! For their ready to go meals, my favorites are their Ancient Grains Bowl, Skinny Fresh Summer Wraps, Guacamole, Egg Salad and Cobb Salad!! Every month, they have a Smoothie of the Month. And, check out their Vitamin Dept for supplements, protein powder, CBD and more!

The prepared food is delicious, especially the beet salad. But the chicken noodle soup is the best I've ever tasted. Delicious! The herbs are perfect with big chunks of chicken-- not too salty either. They also make a plant-based vegan chili that is very good as well. Their fresh organic juices are worth a trip there alone. When I want quality food and nutritious juices, this is the place. Just like a sweet, home cooking mother to fix you right up!❤️
